Jake Taylor Smith began his jazz career at 12 when he taught himself how to play the piano. Inspired by Sinatra’s ability to always make him feel at ease, Smith starting singing and creating his own tune — one that is true to Sinatra with an original twist. Jake Taylor Smith knew music was his passion, so he dropped out of an esteemed Music Studies program to pursue music in Nashville, TN.
Whilst in Nashville, Jake Taylor Smith regularly performed at local venues and began to make a name for himself as a smooth jazz aficionado that knows how to create an ambiance of ease and enjoyment for all listeners. He regularly toured with well-known Indie bands as a pianist, allowing Smith to travel nationally on a big stage.
Jake Taylor Smith stays true to his passion: creating jazz standards for the masses. When he is not serenading, you’ll likely find Jake surfing in Del Mar or rock climbing in a national park.
